Dateline: Warwick 2nd July 2006 The start of July saw the GB Bulldogs hit Warwick University again for the first of two 3-day football camps, which proved to be hot work as it coincided with heatwave warnings for the south of England. However, this didn't stop the 50 strong squad from having a very productive and intensive camp under the watchful leadership of Head Coach Graham Thorpe and his dedicated coaching staff. They say only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the mid-day sun, well these Bulldogs met that challenge and through sensible scheduling (avoiding the worst of the heat and allowing time to watch the 'other' national football team) and good hydration left camp primed and ready for more in a fortnight's time.
