Bulldogs 2007Dear Bulldog (to be?) You'll no doubt be aware, at least to some extent, of the current political environment that exists within British Football. It is for this reason, and in the hope that the many attempts made by BSAFA to resolve these problems and get some answers to critical questions would be forth coming from BAFA, that there has been no detail on the Bulldogs plans for this year. As we have had no contact - we have taken the decision that is must be 'business as usual' for BSAFA and the Bulldogs - so as promised, we have arranged a 'Bulldogs Lite' for 2007, but only if you want it! We are very keen to keep the momentum up and as you will see below have already made some provisional plans for 2008 - but because of the short notice we do feel it only fair to let you decide - do you want it or not?! The 2007 programme will take everything on board we have learnt over the past few years and, for all you returners who know what I mean, we expect to continue to build on the pride and excellence that is THE BULLDOGS!
We estimate the cost (mostly travel and accom' in Norway) to be around £350, but we will, as ever, try to keep it to a minimum. Coach Thorpe is in Norway as I write this confirming details and checking accommodation options Oslo are planning to return the favour as part of next year's extensive programme - the provisional details that we know for next year are: Winter Camp - 15/16 December Spring Camp - 12/13th April All-Star Practice - 26/04/08 All-Star Game - 03/05/08 GB Camp - 17 or18th May GB Game - 31/05/08 The programme will be open to the All Stars in the first instance - so we just need you to tell us are you in or out? Please respond to Carl Marshall - no later than July 9th. There is no financial commitment in doing so at this time, we just need to know if selected are you willing and able to participate in the 2007 programme.
